Promoting and Protecting the Voter
Our Vote is our voice.
With LWV, we promote and protect voting by educating communities on the local, state, and national issues we care about, registering people to vote, strengthening and expanding voting rights, and getting out the vote on local, state, and national Election Days.
Per the US Census Bureau, nationally 73.6% (or 174 million people) of the citizen voting-age population was registered to vote and 65.3% (or 154 million people) actually voted in the 2024 Presidential election.
