Child Advocates San Antionio (CASA) 40th anniversary video spotlights NCJW’s Elinor Farland and Betty Zinn as well as the role of Judge Peter Sakai in the success of CASA. CASA’s Court Appointed Special Advocates support children involved in the child welfare system. CASA’s volunteers advocate for the best interest of a child and make informed recommendations to the judge for the child’s physical and emotional well-being.

Restorative Justice Webinar
At its core, restorative justice involves bringing together victims, offenders and sometimes community members to collectively address the harm caused by a crime. The goal is to achieve accountability, forgiveness and healing — thereby allowing all parties to move forward. Restorative justice is finding its footing in university settings, the military, and more.
