Advocating for women, children, and families for over 100 years in San Antonio.

The National Council of Jewish Women is a volunteer organization that has been at the forefront of social change for over a century— championing the needs of women, children, and families — while courageously taking a progressive stance on such issues as child welfare, women’s rights, and reproductive freedom. The local San Antonio section works throughout the year on programs vital to furthering our political, social, and fundraising requirements. We are always looking for equality-minded women who would like to get involved in these efforts. Please join us.

Our Year in Review

What a year it has been! As we wrap up our fiscal year ending June 2025, here’s a quick look at some of our major programs. For those who did not get to attend some of these events, don’t worry — we have videos. Stay tuned for our 2025-2026 calendar available in August. There is much to be done, but it’s not all work and no play. There’s our Trashy Book Club, Hanukkah and Purim parties, as well as a host of other excuses to get together and learn, laugh, and eat.

If you like what you see, won’t you join us? Our membership drive is underway. To join, go to www.ncjwsa.org/join.

Restorative Justice Webinar
At its core, restorative justice involves bringing together victims, offenders and sometimes community members to collectively address the harm caused by a crime. The goal is to achieve accountability, forgiveness and healing — thereby allowing all parties to move forward.
